Privacy Policy.

This Policy explains what data VisualRez (“we”) collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to visualrez.com and the VisualRez service.

01What we collect

To process your order (collected by Stripe at checkout):

• Your name and email address
• Billing address

Stripe stores your card details directly — we never see them. We receive only the order confirmation and the customer record.

To produce your Visual Rez (collected through the intake form):

• Your career story responses
• Resume (PDF or DOC)
• LinkedIn export (PDF)
• Other attachments you choose to upload (awards, press, portfolio)
• Your preferences for color, music, and voice (varies by tier)

Automatically:

Standard server logs (IP address, browser, request timestamps) generated by our hosting provider. We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking pixels of any kind.

02Why we collect it

• To produce and deliver the video you ordered
• To send you the order confirmation, the magic link, and the final file
• To respond when you contact us
• To meet legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention)

03Who handles it

We use a small set of service providers to operate VisualRez:

• Stripe — processes payments
• Supabase — stores your order record
• Loops — sends transactional email (order confirmation, delivery notification)
• Vercel — hosts visualrez.com

Each of these handles your data per its own privacy practices. We do not sell or rent your data, ever.

04How long we keep it

We delete the materials you submit — story responses, resume, LinkedIn export, attachments — within 30 days of delivering your final video. After that we retain only:

• Your order record (date, tier, amount paid) for tax and accounting purposes
• The delivered MP4 in our records during the revision window so we can support edits

05Magic-link access tokens

Your order URL contains a secure access token. Treat it like a password — anyone with the URL can view your order details, your submitted story, and (once delivered) your video.

If your link is ever exposed, or you want a new one for any reason, email hi@visualrez.com. We will generate a new token and invalidate the old one.

We do not transmit the token to third parties beyond what is necessary to render the page you requested.

06Cookies and tracking

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts on visualrez.com.

Stripe sets short-lived cookies during the checkout process, governed by Stripe's own privacy practices. We do not see or access these.

07Children

VisualRez is for adults applying for adult work. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, email hi@visualrez.com and we will delete it.

08Your rights

You can:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Request a copy of your submitted materials
• Request earlier deletion (before the 30-day automatic window)
• Rotate your magic-link access token
• Withdraw consent for portfolio display

Email hi@visualrez.com for any of the above. We respond within a reasonable timeframe.

09Security

We protect your data with reasonable technical measures: HTTPS for all traffic, encrypted storage at our providers, and access tokens scoped to individual orders.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you by email.

10Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be noted on this page and the date above will reflect the update.
